The 4 Rushes Go Kart Racing Will Give You

If you’ve ever been, you can attest to the various feelings and rushes you get while go kart racing.  Nothing else in the world quite gives you all those same feelings at the same time, and after you’ve experienced it you’re only left wanting more.  So what exactly are those different rushes that come together to make such an unforgettable experience on go karts?  Here’s our take on the top 4 rushes you’ll feel when you’re screaming around the track:

1. Competition

No matter if you’re with family in friends for a birthday party or you’re up against co-workers at a corporate team building event, you will definitely see your competitive side come out on the track!  One of the feelings most often described by racers is the competitive rush they get when they’re chasing someone down on the straight away or trying to get the inside lane on someone during one of the corners.  It’s almost impossible to walk away from the track without recounting how close you came to passing someone or how you were just able to get by the person ahead of you.  Competition may not be the first feeling that hits you when you start your race; but it’s definitely one that will stay with you long after you’ve turned your helmet in.

2. Adrenaline

Once your go kart hits full speed, of course you’re going to feel that adrenaline rush!  Our electric go karts are extremely fast and often catch our first-time racers off guard with their raw power.  With the pedal to the metal and your back firmly held to your seat by the sheer force of your kart, you’ll definitely start feeling your heart beat a little faster as the adrenaline starts flowing!  Soon enough you’ll be using it to your advantage as you take on our next big rush…

3. Precision

Once you’ve gotten used to the power and your heart has settled down a bit, you’re sure to start looking for that perfect lap!  Not only will you be pushing for excellence as you face competition for times and spacing with drivers in front and behind you, but you’ll also want to see just how far you can push yourself getting as close you can get to that apex.  Just be careful; as many racers will tell you, there really isn’t such thing as a perfect lap.  No matter how fast you’ve gone or how tight you were able to get on each corner, you’ll always have that little voice in the back of your mind telling you that you could have taken one turn just slightly better or that you should have let off the brake just a little sooner.  Don’t let the rush of precision driving get the best of you, because at the end of the day, all go kart racing is really about is our last rush!

4. Excitement

One of the main reasons why so many people love go kart racing is because it’s exciting!  If anything, the excitement of go karts can be described as a mixture of the last 3 rushes we just listed.  In a world with countless road laws, high gas prices and speed cameras, we need the opportunity to feel an automobile being pushed to its limits!  Putting rubber to road is just one of those rare things in life that really gets your blood pumping and can excite even the mellowest of individuals.  That is why go karts provide the perfect rush of excitement for today’s racer.

Entertainment and amusement is a major business in America.  With so many options when it comes to thrill seeking, it’s hard to figure out exactly what you want.  So the next time you’re looking for a good thrill, think of exactly what kind of rush you’re looking for and then go for all of them at Speed Raceway with a few laps around our track!
